Yay For Christmas!

Well no sooner have we got Halloween out of the way here, than Christmas is right here in full force! I love how the Hong Kong office buildings have whizzed the baubles and reindeer in for display, last week I noticed that the lights on hotels around the harbour have all been lit up! I am all about Christmas more than any other festivals throughout the year. I have lovely childhood memories that play a big part as it was always a time when the family got together and enjoyed all sorts of feel good traditions.

Festivals help us to feel connected and give a focus for community moments and communal celebrations ! This can help us all to feel a bit more balanced especially in some of the tough times people have been experiencing around the world. There are many in HK who cannot travel back to their home country for Christmas celebrations so it’s vital to build in time with our Hong Kong Family. Here in my own small village of Pak Kok Tsuen we have been planning some Christmas Carol evenings and movie nights for us all to look forward to in December. Prior to which we will get to enjoy Thanksgiving in the garden at Flowers Towers and Hanukkah courtesy of Ayelet.

Here at Wild at Art we have got some special items lined up for you as well as some celebratory art making at the Art Table.

If you’re looking for a special present for your loved ones, do take a peek at our Storyteller Oracle Page here, it's not too late for Christmas, we are shipping now wherever you are in the world: https://bit.ly/3cafIUX

We also have two special edition sketchbooks, The Unforgettable Hong Kong Edition and the Wild at Art Edition, check them out on the Wild at Art Shop https://bit.ly/3FmoMCJ

Do come and join us at the art table in December to create some of your own Christmas gifts and objets d’art with me, Susan Duffy and the lovely Hoi Lam who will be debuting her special felt making techniques here at the studio.
