“I initially signed up for the Oracle Card Weekend because I wanted a weekend away. I didn't even know what Oracle Cards were but I didn't care ! The magic of these cards has given me new personal insights, pushed my creative limits, and helped to foster new connections. One of the activities that help guide the weekend is an archetypes test. I emerged as "The Fool", and to be honest it really bothered me.
So, I got curious and did a bit of digging into the Fool. This is such an interesting way of thinking about myself. I have explored many facets of this archetype and discovered so much about me! This deep personal reflective work is never easy, but I wouldn't trade these experiences for anything!!”

I had an amazing time at the Oracle Card weekend. I shared with the group my novel-in-progress, and the fact that the protagonist and her "antagonist" are both aspects of me (some known and some to be explored...) Katie suggested I make cards for my two characters.
Wow! What a magical process. Through my novel, I'm hoping to explore how harmful we can be to others if we are focused on self-protection at the expense of unity and equality for all. Making the cards has deepened my connection with my characters and given me new insight into both of them. My hope is that my characters will both bring out strength in each other, and that the process will bring out the hidden strengths in me
