Magic is a Group of Women Creating
"Magic is group of a women creating. The world is a better place every time we gather, make, share and grow together"
One of my great privileges in running the Wild at Art workshops is getting to meet the diverse and vibrant community of creatives who arrive here in the studio. It’s not just about witnessing the hive of creative activity that takes place, it’s also about the gentle growth of community that emerges along the way. Some people attend weekly workshops such as Doodling or Art Journaling, some come to Monthly Mandala Meet ups and others drop in from time to time and are always happy to connect with old friends and make new ones. But there is a beautiful alchemy that takes place along the way, as people here share anecdotes, ideas, experiences, their stories, music, artistic struggles and creative triumphs!
The benefits of attending Wild at Art workshops are as much about Self Care as they are about Art Making content. But that makes sense, for me as an artist, creativity has always been a force of health and well-being. Connecting with our own creative energy through art-making is a gentle yet powerful way to practice Self-Care for each one of us, and being able to do that in a creative community can provide a rich weave of expressive experiences, insight, openness and fun!
Imagine walking into a calming, creative setting and being welcomed with open arms like we’ve known you forever. That’s what it’s like when you attend a Wild at Art workshop. You do become part of our family. You will form friendships and bonds here. You’ll be taken care of and treated like creative royalty. You can create within your own quiet inner space, you may access your deeper stories, you may foster new forms of self-expression, you may develop some ways to self regulate or find new creative coping skills, or find a way to gently access your flow and find your voice.
