Meet our Founder Katie Flowers

My name is Katie Flowers, I am an Art Therapist, Art Educator and Mixed Media Artist. I run Wild at Art Studio in Central, where I offer art workshops with a focus on emotional health, well being and creative self-care.

My path has always involved a passion for fostering creativity in others, in various schools and community settings. This work has enabled me to observe the powerful creative life force that resides within everyone, through witnessing the profound healing and change that can result from making art and reconnecting with one’s creativity.

As this process has resonated with community and demand for creatrive healing services has grown, I have expanded my team so that Wild at Art can offer a passionate family of creative professionals to deliver life-affirming art and wellness experiences tailored to your needs.

Meet the Team

Vicki Wilson-Jiwatram

Vicki is an experienced Art Educator who has enjoyed working in international schools and communities in the UK, Italy, Vietnam, and Hong Kong.

Her Master of Arts in Art Education was dedicated to researching the connection between the art-making process and the development of social-emotional learning so it may come as no surprise that she is passionate about art's role in fostering well-being and self-expression. Vicky considers it a privilege to facilitate varied and creative art experiences with children, young people, and adults. Vicki is excited to be part of the Wild at Art team this year and you will meet her in both school and studio settings. You can find her on Instagram at @vw_artspace.

Tonya Ward

Tonya is excited to join the Wild at Art team in her capacity as Expressive Art Therapist. Many of you know her already as she has worked on a number of projects this year. Tonya earned her Master of Expressive Arts Therapy from Hong Kong University and works with NGOs, schools, individuals and businesses across Hong Kong as a strength-based, person-centered therapist. Previously in Australia, she worked as a crisis counsellor for a national suicide prevention organisation and has an extensive background in communications and media. She believes in promoting art as health for everyone, whether it is making or consuming art, music, writing, drama or movement. You can find her on Instagram at @artashealth.
